10 Years of wedded bliss...and three kids later!

Gary A. Lawson and Wendee W. Lawson are pleased to announce the marraige of their daughter Heidi Ann to Danny William, son of A. Chad Stott and Patricia L. Stott on February 20th 1998 in the Salt Lake Temple...that's pretty much the jist of it all..Here we are ten years later and three kids, my how time flies! He was our first family photo, I couldn't find our engagement photo so this is the next best thing, I think we had this taken a couple of weeks before we got married!

Here is a picture of Dan's first love, the dog...when we were married the dog was almost four years old, and yes she is still alive, and driving me nuts...she is almost fourteen now!

While I was trying to find pictures of our engagement and wedding day Rachel was helping me (because back in the old day's we didn't have digital camera's) She made the comment that we look so young...does that mean I have aged that much, I still think of myself as twenty!

Here is some of the loot from one of the bridal showers, and even I think that we look about 12 in this picture, especially Dan...Note the ginormous bangs on my head, and yes they were still very popular back then...I realize that some of you were still in Junior High when I got married!
Ten years later and I still love everything about my life, my marraige, and especially the new little loves that have come out of it..Rachel, Jackson, and Landon, I wouldn't trade one second of it!

We are the Champions (not) my friends....and we'll keep on jogging till the end...!

So Dan, and I ran our first 5K this last weekend in Ogden. I have been running now for a while, but Dan just started running about 3 weeks ago, and decided to run it with me at the last minute! We saw Steve and Heidi Terry there, and they left us in the dust within seconds of the starting horn, but the good news is that we finished and we were not in last place, which was my original goal. My new goal is to beat this time now! Let me say that training in West Kaysville does not give you the right kind of hill training that I could have used...the hills on this run, were ginormous and never-ending, but coming down them was awesome! When Dan came through the finish line, he was huffing and puffing, and the first thing that he said to me was, "this doesn't ever make me want to do this again!" About 10 minutes later he was "that was so rewarding..I think I will do that again." His brother has been begging him to run the Memorial day 5K in Kaysville, for about 5 years, and this is the year that I think we will do it! However I being the crazy person that I am signed up to run the 10K on march 1st, and the 10 miler a couple of weeks after that...I think that I will go and run now!

It's offical....Landon is growing up too fast!

Landon has been crawling now for a couple of weeks..and just the other day, I went into his room and found this....
My baby is pulling himself up and standing next to things....you know this can only lead to one thing...WALKING! I know that I am being a little over dramatic, but it's going by too fast! He is so busy, and he is destroying my plants now that he can get to them! I have all of these new things to worry about now, like for example did you know that barbie stuff has like a zillion different little choking hazards, and Rachel, cannot seem to get them all and put them away? Heaven forbid that the Barbie doesn't have her shoes on...and then they get lost and guess who finds them? I do...inside Landons mouth! Oh well, I guess that I will just have to keep my house cleaner, and vacuumed more often! Gotta Love it!

The dancing queen, and the amateur photographer!

Rachel had her winter dance recital last week, and she was amazing, if I do say so myself! She practiced really hard the last few weeks, and it finally paid off! Now if only her mother had practiced a little more with the video camera! WARNING: Not for those with weak stomachs, as you might get a little motion sickness! I also got some really great shots of the floor! Stay tuned...

Here is a picture of the three cutest dancers there
Here are Rachel and Mickell, striking a pose
