Crazy sleeping children!!

So I have always known that my kids had a strange way of sleeping, since they were born. I would check on them as babies, and always find them in a different postion each time I would check! I thought they would outgrow this, apparently I was wrong. Sometimes when they climb in bed with me when Dan is gone, I find myself waking up to feet in my face or better yet Rachel will just lay completley on top of my face! Is it necessary to sleep so insanely? So I thought maybe this was a genetic defect that had escaped Landon, as he has always slept soundly and usually never moves too much from the position in which I lay him down. Boy was I wrong, I woke up this morning to check on him, and this is what I found!

So I thought I would snap some pictures of this, ( I also realize that if I had all the proper crib bedding that this probably would not have occured, but really this is my third child and I didn't get it for the first two, so does he really need it? I guess so.) After the second flash went off it woke him up. Does this look like a happy child to you, he must take after his mother in the morning!

Oh my gosh heidi that is so funny/cute! I love that little Landon! Maybe it wouldn't have happened if his legs were actually bigger than toothpics. I love your kids they are all so stinkin cute.

Your kids are too cute! Yes, I think you will agree that in this case no fertalizer is better than any!

Cute little, Lando. I love him and all his cute faces. My kids sleep crazy too. I'm not sure why this happens. :) Must be a kid thing.

PS. I have an extra bumper pad if you need it. ;)

I am seriously laughing out loud. My kids have the same genetic defect! I have learned to sleep with feet in my face, back, stomach, etc. Jake thinks we are crazy, because my girls and I sleep great all tangled up. It drives him nuts!

This is why I could never let my nieces and nephews sleep with me, cuz they move all around and leave you with no room on the bed! ha ha Gotta love it though! Your kids are adorable. Oh, and yes we would love to have you come by and see Avery, we enjoy the company!

So cute! When I was little I used to fall asleep in my food or standing up next to my bed. It's amazing how kids can sleep in any crazy way and yet can't fall asleep when you want them to! :)

LOL! What a great story. Kailey hasn't had any weird sleeping positions yet. I used to sleep talk/walk when I was younger and I am hoping that is NOT genetic. My family loves to tell the story of me playing baseball in my sleep (on the water bed I shared with my sister).

I think that is great! And it's so cute that you captured it in pictures! I think that it's a good quality to have. If Casey bumps me in the night, I wake up.

Trust me, the crib bumpers don't keep a baby's legs inside the crib any better. Paxton use to always get his leg stuck between the crib and the wall with a bumper pad.
