Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving was a blast this year! We went to my mom and dad's house and stuffed ourselves full of Turkey and taters..My dad set one table for the 1st generation, (grandparents and great-grandparents) one table for 2nd generation, (us parents) and one table for the 3rd generation (our children) I have never had a better meal, just knowing that my kids were on a different table was fabulous for me, although I am not so sure that they ate very much considering that I wasn't there to moniter it.

This is Landon in his way cute matching sweater and hat set that was once Jackson's, and was originally Blake and Bradley's (thanks Andrea we love your hand-me down clothes).
Who could not absolutley love this face. He looked so cute, however my parents house was like 80 degree's so he wore it just long enough to look cute for pictures, and then we had to strip him down.

We then sat around in our post turkey haze, loafing here and there and getting in on some wii action, that is after we figured out how to work the controllers! Then we played some doubles tennis, and a little boxing until our arms were killing us. The kids kept busy by playing some mean games of air hockey!

They also had a good time jumping and climbing on the human mountain, Uncle Dan! He was so fun to let the boys jump on him and wrestle!

Landon finally concked out at the end of the day! I think he was just doing what the rest of us wish we were doing. It was a great day, and then we went to Dan's parents and the kids got to sleepover with all of their cousins!

How fun! Your family is so cute! Oh--and Landon is ADORABLE in his hat and sweater! Totally worth the possible heat exhaustion! I really want to try out the wii. It looks so fun!

What a fun day! I love having my kids at a different table, it is worth them not eating for healthy for that one meal. We love playing wii too! We had my parents over and made them play each other in boxing. By the time they were done my dad was breathing like he had just run a marathon.

Ok, first of all, you didn't tell me you updated your blog! Shame on you.
Ok, now on to other things...1.)Landon is SO cute and I absolutely adore his sweater outfit. I'm glad you got some cute pictures before the heat stroke set in. 2.) The kids table is the greatest part of Thanksgiving. I thought it as a kid, and I think still think it now. (Only for very different reasons) 3.) I'm glad you finally got in on some Wii action. I'm a little disappointed that you didn't post any pictures of you boxing. I bet you make a mean Mike Tyson. 4.)In that last picture of Dan and the boys, Dan really does look like he's dying. I hope there were no serious physical repercussions. And 5.) I envy Landon in that last picture. Why can't they just make "naptime" a a regular Thanksgiving tradition? Buy a turkey. Have a nap. Brilliant.

I love landons sweater! The things we make our kids suffer through for fashion. His blue eyes are to die for. It looks like you guys had such a fun Thanksgiving. I want to challenge you to a boxing match on the wii. I will stomp you. J/J But we should all play sometime. Well I gues we first have to buy one. Small detail.
